Clean the Lint Filter After Every Cycle
This is the single most important maintenance task. A blocked filter restricts airflow, extends drying times, causes overheating, and is a fire risk. Remove and clean after every load.
Clean the Condenser Monthly (Condenser Models)
The condenser is located behind the lower kick panel. Remove it and rinse under a tap. A blocked condenser causes the same problems as a blocked filter.
Empty the Water Drawer After Every Cycle
An overfull drawer triggers a warning and stops the cycle. Some models will continue with a full drawer at reduced efficiency.
Check the Vent Hose Annually (Vented Models)
Check the hose is clear of kinks and blockages. Clean the external vent cover. A blocked vent is a fire risk and causes overheating.
Clean the Moisture Sensors
On auto-dry models, wipe the sensor bars inside the drum with a dry cloth every few weeks to remove fabric softener residue.
Do Not Overload
Fill to 3/4 capacity maximum. Overloading causes mechanical strain and poor drying results.
